Ten Commandments in Schools?
Louisiana with bipartisan support passed a bill to display the Ten Commandments in public schools and universities.
You shall have no other gods before me
The state rep behind this bill said, "Get God's moral standard back in front of our children, because they don't seem to have a standard."
You shall not make for yourself an idol...
The new law mandates that by January 1 a framed display be put in every public school and state college.
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God
"For 50 years humanists have had free rein over our education system."
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy
The Ten Commandments are displayed inside our Supreme Court, other courts throughout the country, and state capitols.
Honor your father and your mother
"You won't find a more historical and traditional document."
You shall not murder
"I've never known the level of evil attacks. 'How dare I'"
You shall not commit adultery
"I've never seen the left so fearful of a change."
You shall not steal
Civil rights groups decried the new law, a violation of separation between church and state.
You shall not give false testimony
The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit.
You shall not covet...
