CONCLUSION

Charles Faddis, author of Beyond Repair: The Decline and Fall of the CIA.

"The structure of the CIA must be simplified. The organization must be field-centric. It is not the job of those in the field to wait for people in Langley to finish their meetings and reviews. It is the job of people in Langley to keep up."

"We know what the problems are. We know how to fix them. What we have lacked until now is the willingness to do what is needed."

"Somewhere in the world a terrorist group is planning a deadly biological attack on the United States. Afghan and Pakistanis are conspiring to seize Pakistani nuclear weapons."

"Chinese are putting the finishing touches on a plan to blockade Taiwan and crash the global economy. Venezuelans are discussing with Russians putting hypersonic missiles on their soil that can carry nuclear warheads."

"The only organization that has a prayer of providing insight into these and many other threats is the CIA. We needed it in 1947. We need it even more today. We have no time to waste in returning it to fighting form."

Jimmy's thoughts: The CIA and other protectors failed us on 9/11. The Democrat geniuses, in search of more voters, probably have allowed more enemies to cross our border in all history, in just three years.

We also think all our agencies can learn something from Mr. Faddis.

 SOLUTIONS

This former CIA department head told his audience a new director who "knows the terrain is critical to CIA survival."

"Some of what is needed can be taught. But you can't teach the critical skills required...to connect with people in organizations that exist to murder people like you...and get them to follow your orders. That takes raw physical courage. It takes perceptions. It takes instinct, insight and immense self-confidence."

 Part 4

"A new director must make it crystal clear there is no more business as usual, that the CIA is returning to its roots, that there will be zero tolerance for any involvement in domestic politics. A significant number of senior officers should be removed immediately. There must be a clear sea change. Everyone must understand that real reform is underway and there will be zero tolerance for foot dragging, slow rolling or internal resistance."

"Individuals who made rank by playing it safe and currying favor with superiors should be removed immediately. They should be replaced by individuals with the brains, guts, and audacity to do what is needed."

"There can be only one measure of success - results. We must be interested solely in intelligence that gives us a decisive advantage over our adversaries."

"Recruiting must be completely revamped. Quotas are absurd. Focusing on color, gender and sexual orientation is at best irrelevant. We want the best, and that means those people who possess the unique blend of skills and abilities to do what everyone else considers impossible."

Political Desires First

Before we leave the Libyan fiasco behind, Mr. Faddis said in his speech, regarding the lie, 'a peaceful event gone bad:' "This was absurd on its face. The Director of Central Intelligence (Mike Morell) injected himself into a domestic political dispute."

"He did so, presumably, because he believed that Sec. of State Clinton would be the next president and he would be named to a senior post in her administration."

Part 3

"In the runup to the 2016 election, people within Clinton's campaign concocted the idea of smearing Donald Trump with false accusations. When this failed to prevent Trump's election, they carried on to destabilizing the Trump presidency and perhaps even removing Trump from office."

"The involvement of the FBI (Crossfire Hurricane) has been documented. The CIA's role: Investigation has shown that American intelligence sought to involve allied intelligence services. To the British it became clear this activity was inappropriate and illegal."

"Such interaction doesn't happen without the involvement of the CIA. John Brennan, CIA director, had to know about Crossfire Hurricane and he also had to approve it. When Brennan stepped down, he was replaced by Gina Haspel. She was chief of station in London during Crossfire Hurricane and had to have been part of this plot."

"When Hunter Biden's laptop threatened to derail Joe Biden's 2020 campaign, 51 former intelligence officers signed a now infamous letter branding the laptop a product of Russian disinformation. I have seen ...and retain a copy to this day. I can assure you it was real and that ... Joe Biden was compromised by a number of foreign actors - chief among them the Chinese Communist Party."

Of the 51, Faddis said, five were former directors or acting directors of the CIA. Mike Morell and John Brennan were among those five.

 Sitting Behind Their Desks

Layers of Middle Management

Washington today. They laugh at the boss's jokes. Are loyal to prevailing groupthink. Move paper. Attend meetings. Climb the corporate ladder.

"But they have no idea how to run an op or recruit a source," said a former CIA department head in a speech at Hillsdale College.

Part 2

"At its core," he said, "the CIA is meant to do what everyone else considers impossible. It's supposed to be run by people who will steal the crown jewels if asked. Not anymore. Now it's run by people who look for ops with no downside, and therefore, no upside either."

"The CIA has proved unable to put a source inside a Chinese bio lab, within the leadership of the Taliban, or next to Valdimir Putin. Those kinds of operations require the willingness to take risks and manage those risks. We no longer have either."

Politization

September 11, 2012. Two American compounds in Benghazi, Libya were attacked by an Islamic militia with a terrorist history. A compound of the Dept. of State was overrun. The American ambassador was killed.

A CIA compound was better prepared to resist. Those inside held out long enough for a relief force in Tripoli to arrive and evacuate CIA personnel. No military relief force was sent by the Obama administration.

Throughout the attacks, a stream of reporting went to Washington. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others began to peddle the narrative that a peaceful demonstration had simply gotten out of control. No terrorism.

If we recall correctly, Clinton remained on a ship.

    offshore, surrounded by friendly forces.

Don't Worry

Government agencies are inclusive, and the right politicians have our backs ... no, wait ... they have turned their backs.

Charles Faddis, a former department chief at the Central Intelligence Agency, is worried..."We have no time to waste in returning the CIA to fighting form."

The CIA was created after World War II with one primary mission - to prevent another Pearl Harbor. How's it going? Faddis answered the question in a speech at Hillsdale College, which we summarize for you.

He said the CIA is failing for two reasons: bureaucratization and politicization.

"Espionage requires innate skills," he said. "Not everyone can do it. Their primary job is spotting, recruiting and developing spies. All this requires gut instincts, decisions on the fly, navigating through a maze and tolerating ambiguity."

"People in charge of our government have forgotten this. They have turned the CIA into just another federal agency. Recruiters look for academic degrees, language proficiency, skin color and sexual orientation."

"Training has been softened and is formbook in nature. We act as if anyone can be taught espionage."

This is the Day

     We've had Thanksgiving.

     We've had Black Friday.

     And every day...

This is the Day the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanksgiving, Looking Back

Andree Peterson unpacks the story of Pilgrims vs. Puritans (as edited).

"It seems a truth of human nature that no sooner does a group split off from another that the splitting group itself splits. Start of the 1600s, there were four main categories of English Christians: those who stayed with Rome (Catholics); those content with the Church of England; those who were not content but stayed to purify it (Puritans), and those who exited (Separatists - the Pilgrims).

"When the dust settled, we had the outlines of today's American Christianity. Like the making of laws and sausage, the process wasn't pretty. Separatists felt compelled to shake off a corrupt national church they likened to Babylon. Puritans thought the national church to be redeemable.

"This animosity crossed the pond and washed up. In 1607, while the first three Puritan vessels were unloading at Jamestown, Va., the Pilgrims were making their escape across the North Sea to Holland. Their next port would be Cape Cod in 1620, without charter or warrant from any government. But they felt the necessity of civil government and made their own contract on the Mayflower.

"A letter by (Puritan) Gov. John Endicott to (Separatist) Gov. William Bradford concludes this Thanksgiving remembrance.

"Right worthy Sir: It is a thing not usual that servants to one Master and of the same household should be strangers. I desire it not; nay, to speak more plainly, I cannot be so to you. God's people are marked with one and the same mark, and sealed with one and the same seal, and have, for the main, one and the same heart, guided by one and the same Spirit of truth.

"God willing, I purpose to see your face shortly. In the meantime, I humbly take my leave of you, committing you to the Lord's blessed protection and rest. Your assured loving friend and servant. John Endicott."

We'll discuss the CIA next week.

One More Thing

Would you like a deluxe electric range for only $99?

End note. Blog dated Nov. 20.

During a search of my office cabinet, I came across a page 1 photo in the city's newspaper. I was in that overhead photo. Well, me and 2,364 other college graduates in black robes.

We were four abreast stretching from the basketball arena, walking toward the football stadium. That may not impress you. But know this: We all stayed in order as they placed us individually for the walk, then in stadium seats. And later when 2,365 grads crossed the stage on that field, a stranger handed me my diploma. How did they do that?

The speaker that day was Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Glenn T. Seaborg. A football game would have been far more entertaining.

Now. The purpose for this end note:

I turned over the page, finding ads for kitchen appliances. Along with the electric range was a "Big" 2-door refrigerator, reg. $299, for just $199. And a 21-inch RCA television for $138. And an RCA Whirlpool automatic washer..."absolutely no money down."

Of course, I couldn't afford any of that...had I owned a home. But, I ask you, "Is financial life for ordinary citizens any better now than in 1961?"

Israel, Past and Present

Janie B. Cheaney, WORLD magazine, provides thoughts on Israel.

"Israel has played a parallel soundtrack to Sunday school lessons and daily Bible readings. From King David to David Ben-Gurian, from Philistia to the Gaza Strip, its story is always news."

"What hold does this land have on our imagination? Everybody seems to have an opinion, religious or secular, Zionist or anti-Zionist, eschatological or temporal."

"When Hamas terrorists boiled over the border to slaughter over 1,000 Israeli civilians in October, they set the world on fire. Such barbaric acts are not unheard of. The blood lust in Rwanda in the 1990s was equally horrific. Warlords in Africa and drug cartels in South and Central America regularly splash their gore across the news. Then we hear no more.

"But every time Israel is attacked or when it strikes, the world trains a critical eye for weeks. The IDF hovers on the edge of all-out war while hysterical denunciations rain down on them from all over the world.

"The last few weeks have unleashed some jaw-dropping reactions from the campus, the Congress, and the media.

"This much is obvious. The Hamas militants didn't suddenly "break out" from under Israeli aggression. When they arrived, they didn't somehow bring about Israelis being "subsequently killed" (notice the passive voice). Hamas militants butchered and raped and pillaged and returned to cheering crowds in Gaza, parading the bodies of their victims, as the Philistines must have paraded and blinded Samson in the same city.

"To me, this is much more than a political struggle. It's a spiritual one...with Israel itself: a secular nation built upon divine covenants. A people like no other, with a history as mystifying as their founder's wrestling match with the Lord. Israel wrestles still, with modern-day Philistines. And with the Lord.

"This tiny nation remains at the center of the world. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem(Psalm 122:6), and especially pray that they be reconciled with their Messiah before He returns."

Priority: Thanksgiving or Saturday

Once still in high school, Dad took me to a college football game at his alma mater. We sat in the upper deck...heaven. Some 80,000 other idol-worshipers shared the same faith.

Attending college was not a priority. But when said school accepted my application...I knew where God wanted me! In a meeting for incoming freshmen, someone promised me seats on the 25-yard-line if I participated in a special cheering section. If I would? Did that for two seasons, while other underclassmen cheered from the end zone.

That season, after the first game, tuition paid, Dad told someone my game was his most expensive ever. I chose to remain on campus for the last game of the season, Thanksgiving weekend. I wasn't homesick. My religion mattered.

In Spring of my freshman year, friends in the Methodist Foundation convinced me to move into their rooming house. God would be pleased.

Season No. 2. Methodist friends and I attended the final game, away, where our team beat the hated rival. I swiped a flag from their Methodist house. Dad somehow financed my train trip to the Rose Bowl and back. The parade was far better than the game, although we won. That Spring I volunteered to work for the baseball team. Had a locker in the football stadium. But I wasn't scoring in the classroom.

Season No. 3 was another shadow of heaven, but my fumbles in business school promised defeat. I quit before they could cancel my $12 season ticket. I returned home - didn't miss any games - and returned in the Spring to enter Journalism school. Now on the right team, my grades improved. Even challenged a professor to change a grade from B to A. Lost that one.

My substitute play meant sticking around for a fifth season - I mean fifth year. But wow. For two years, specializing in sports, I interviewed well-known coaches in other sports. One football game, I worked on the field spotting for a photographer. Can my old friends beat that?

Another game, I sat high up in the press box. And I interviewed a photographer even higher - on the press box roof. Finally, on graduation day, like Dad, I accepted my diploma on the field of worship in the hallowed stadium, with Dad, Mom and my sister approving.

I could ask God how he judged my "works." But I think I know.

God's Covenant with Mankind

Are you and I in it?

The word of the Lord came to Abram, a gentile like everyone, in a vision. (Genesis 15). Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness. (vs. 6).

Then the Lord told him what was to come over the next few hundred years.

On that day, the Lord made a covenant with Abram. (v. 18).

When God made his promise to Abraham, he swore by himself, saying, "I will surely bless what was promised. (Hebrews 6:13-15).

Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs...he confirmed it with an oath. (v. 17.)

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. (vs. 19-20).

Sons of God

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:28-29).

Question: Are we primarily Catholics, or Protestants (not to mention the endless variations of same)? No and no. We are co-heirs of the promise, if we believe, trust and obey. Our denomination doesn't cut it.

Thank you teacher

Generosity, Authority, Honesty

Luke chapter 11, by late Pastor Warren Wiersbe

Jesus' generosity. If Jesus and his disciples needed to pray, how much more do we? We must put God's concerns first; prayer is based on sonship, not friendship.

God is a loving Father. He gives us what we need. He doesn't become irritated when we ask for help (James 1:5)

His authority. More dangerous than hostility is attempted neutrality, for an empty life is an opportunity for Satan. The only sign we need is our Lord's resurrection from the dead (Acts 2:22-36).

Jesus won the victory over the prince of darkness. Obey Satan, and soon you will not be able to distinguish between light and darkness.

His honesty. As a guest in their home, Jesus did not flatter them, but spoke truth. He exposed their hypocrisy and condemned their sins.

They defiled and burdened people, while posing as holy men of God. Instead of repenting and being forgiven, they opposed Jesus.

Prayer is mighty, not for getting man's will done in heaven...

but for getting God's will done on earth.

Settlement of His Will

Jesus continued to teach, and then fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 53:10-11.

I have come down (from heaven) not to do my will

but to do the will of him who sent me. (John 6:38).

It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. (Philippians 2:13).

Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Conclusion: Back to the "Lord's Prayer"  > your will be done on earth...

First century Scripture doesn't account for all the thoughts and ways of man. God and his angels will take charge (hooray!!!) at the end of the tribulation. Meanwhile, followers of Christ are to will to do God's will regarding matters of Scripture. (See again Php.2:13, above).

We cannot pray "your will be done" and be satisfied. If we are his children, like David, God's will...will be done on earth only if we do the will of him who died for us.

God's Will or Else?

We will to pick up where we left off yesterday.

Humans have wills. Do we ever! From the beginning to the flood to Abraham to the exodus, God hovered over many wills.

Finally, in the Promised Land, David prayed, I desire to do your will, O my God. Psalm 40:8. And, teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalm 143:10.

Later, as Jews occupied Jerusalem, 700-680 B.C., Isaiah received many Messianic prophesies. The consummate of them all:

Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will proper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life, and be satisfied by his knowledge; my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:10-11

Whew! There is hope for you and me. Our iniquities are a lot worse than eating forbidden fruit. Yes?

Still later in Judea, Isaiah's "him," now in human likeness, addressed a large crowd seated on a mountainside. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

If anyone thought they deserved eternal life by prophesying, driving out demons and performing miracles, Jesus slammed the door: I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers. Matthew 7:23.

Will you learn more tomorrow?

Whose Will Wins?

Among other meanings, to "will" includes desire, consent (or refusal), to express a command, exhortation, action, disposition, probability or inevitability.

Humans in every experience - family, education, commerce, military, politics, sports, healthcare, charity, homeless and more - have wills. One person might will you good health, while another wishes to rob you.

Desire began with Eve, who didn't yet know that real serpents don't speak. She willed to taste the forbidden fruit. Her husband, no doubt in love with the woman God gave him, took his own bite.

So begins the story of sin. Be careful what you will to have in life.

If Adam and Eve got expelled from the beautiful Garden of Eden for eating some fruit, imagine what penalty you and I deserve for things we will for ourselves.

Remember when his disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray? In his sample prayer to the Father, he said: "...your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven..."

Oh. God's will should be done. And he's the Judge.

Does that mean everything we desire or approve must be cleared with God?

Come back tomorrow, if you will

          Jimmy

Wish I Said That

Following up on Justice Frankfurter's warning (see yesterday's blog), here are more quotes from our nation's history. Can you guess who said what?

1. A little rebellion now and then is a good thing. Science is my passion, politics my duty.

2. Let the human mind loose. It must be loosed. It will be loose. Superstition and despotism cannot confine it.

3. On the War of 1812, I flung forward the flag of the country, sure that people would press onward and defend it.

4. The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the Divinity itself, and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.

5. Our Constitution is in actual operation. Everything appears to promise that it will last. But in this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.

6. Government is not reason, it is not eloquence - it is a force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.

7. Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

8. Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.

9. The Constitution is color blind, and neither knows nor tolerates classes among citizens.

10. It is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary...to say what the law is. We must never forget that it is a constitution we are expounding ...intended for ages to come, and consequently, to be adapted to the various crises of human affairs.

1. Thomas Jefferson   2. John Adams   3. James Madison   4. Alexander Hamilton          5. Ben Franklin   6. George Washington   7. Ben Franklin   8. Abe Lincoln,                    9. Justice John Marshall   10. Chief Justice John Marshall

"Fragile as reason is and limited as law is ... as the institutionalized medium of reason, that's all we have standing between us and the tyranny of mere will and the cruelty of unbridled, undisciplined feeling."

Felix Frankfurter

Associate Justice, U.S. Supreme Court, 1939-1962

So that's how religious elites were able to stir up opposition to the supreme Giver of life as he stood accused before Pontius Pilate? (He of "What is truth?" fame.)

Reason is fragile.

Law is limited.

That's why many thousands in many nations can be persuaded that Israel and law-abiding Jews everywhere should be eliminated. And that's why Marxist types easily bypass our constitution and other foundations of our "United States."

They substitute words like bicultural, multicultural, multilingual, victimology, xenophobia, diversity and white supremacy, to focus attention on anything other than...

Our Declaration of Independence: Laws of Nature and Nature's God. Respect to the Opinions of Mankind. Truths to be self-evident. Unalienable Rights. Life. Liberty. Consent of the Governed. Safety. Happiness. Prudence. Security.

Our Constitution: A more perfect union. Domestic tranquility. Blessings of liberty. Qualifications.

Although an FDR Democrat, Frankfurter was onto something.

Can unbridled, undisciplined feeling and mere will rule us in the not-too-distant future? Tyranny needs only for education to fail.

What Is Truth?

Many thousands of people all over America and around the world are shouting and stirring up crowds to support Palestinians. No mention of Hamas (radical Muslims), who launched a shocking massacre of Jewish civilians and kidnapped others, October 7.

A woman who dared enter one of those crowds asked why they believe Jews are to blame for aggression. They didn't exactly give her facts. They answered with loud shouts, and then shouted all the louder, and they kept shouting.

As they crowded around her, one demonstrator with eyes wide and a proud look, settled it: "Israel is killing babies, ladies and old people."  Their shouts prevailed. But Hamas are the real killers.

We didn't know fanatics read the Bible, but they seem to have learned behavior from (ironically) certain Israelites of history.

It's not complicated

The Lord of heaven entered his civilization to bear the punishment radicals, and all of us, deserve for sinful thoughts and behavior. Then he offered eternal life to everyone who confesses and follows him on his "narrow road."

Jesus appealed to average Israelites, while being quite critical of their egocentric leadership. His words and actions, such as healing a cripple on the Sabbath, earned him a beating and a walk to his cross.

(He came to die for us, and on that cross he forgave the priests and their officials.)

The chief priests stirred up the crowd, which kept shouting, shouting all the louder, and their shouts prevailed. "Crucify him!"

Governor Pilate asked the defendant, "Are you the king of the Jews?" The priests (Jews hated Rome) asserted, "We have no king but Ceasar."

Jesus: "I came into the world to testify to the truth."

Pilate sourly asked him, "What is truth?"

"Pilates" in and out of our government shrug their shoulders as well.

                Matthew 27:23; Mark 15:11; Luke 23:23; John 18:33, 37; 19:15

Hello fellow pretend Americans

Seeing how abortion rights are more important than national security - as per Tuesday's elections - guess we'll just lay down and wait for the grim reaper. Progressives don't want octogenarians around anyhow (unless they are in the Government). We get it. Move over and let the kids have at it, in whatever sexual orientation they freely choose.

Rules  and normalit y don't cut  it any   mor e

We dug into the European immigrant's thing. Schumer himself is evil, with ancestry in Poland and Austria (also Russia). Hillary is of French origin, Biden - Ireland - and all other U.S. presidents were children of wicked white immigrants from such as Holland, England, Germany, Scotland, Switzerland and and ... well you get it.

Obama barely made the unjust cut, with a Hawaiian mother. Vice President Kamala Harris is the only face - giggle giggle - that is worthy of our support. Her father is Jamaican, and her mom, India/Indian.

So, fellow intruders, welcome immigrants from all corners of the world. It would cost too much and use too many gas-powered ships and planes to send us all back. Europe is overcrowded already with immigrants from Africa. So, Washington adds rather than subtracts. To balance the USA, let the cartels pay the way. Catch the rhyme?

Let them hear the Statue of Joe Biden pronounce:

"Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free.

The wretched refuse of your teeming shores. Send them, the homeless,

your tempest tossed to me. I light my lamp beside the golden door."

Sing it, privileged friends. Shout it!

Hi again, viewers of Views

This is "unjust Jimmy," following up on yesterday's blog - quoting a year 2004 speech - listing ways to destroy America. Again, whether the speaker advocated destruction or was employing a clever way to warn Congress about what he saw coming, it is scary.

It's the theme itself, and the use of words we see and hear now, today! Words like "racist," "victimology" and "diversity."

One drink is enough. Several drinks lead to drunkenness. We have elites and their helpers who are drunk as a skunk on numerous concoctions...poured out on the land of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to make America not great.

But first, we explain. Democrat Senator Schumer and others who once defended our borders and culture, now claim all Europeans who immigrated here were unjust and immoral to have done so. Therefore, we must welcome millions of non-whites from around the world to balance racial imbalance. No application necessary.

White Europeans had no right to come and steal the natives' soil, water and buffaloes. Many natives who didn't die in battle died from germs, for which they had no immunity. Sad. Whatever. Europeans who came here were not legitimate, the senator says.

In the year 1750, the first (German) Fasnacht (my given name) took an unjust boat from the Netherlands to Philadelphia, for a free and better life. He took up farming and began an unjust family line that led to me in 1938. Get it? I shouldn't be here.

     Sen. Schumer, good. Me, bad!

We cannot be certain if the late Richard Lamm, a liberal Democrat, in 2004 delivered these remarks in Washington, D.C. in favor of destroying America, or if he meant to alert Congress to the possibilities. Some of this is here and now.

The Speech (selected parts)

"First, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. No nation can survive the antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a curse for a society to be bilingual.

"Second, to destroy America, invent multiculturalism and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal.

"Third, we could make the United States a Hispanic Quebec without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor.

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50 percent dropout rate from high school.

"Fifth, would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of victimology. I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority.

"Sixth, for America's downfall, I would include dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other.

"Seventh, I would place all subjects off limits - make it taboo to talk against the cult of diversity. I would find a word that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like racist or xenophobes halt discussion and debate. I would make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws.

"Lastly, I would censor Victor David Hanson's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

                                    Our reaction to come

 To Viewers of the Views

     Nations come and go.

The Bible says a nation divided cannot survive.

     We are divided.

How could that happen to us? the United States?

The late Richard Lamm - a man of many talents, former governor of Colorado, writer, pro-abortion and right to die, population control, immigration reduction, healthcare, and who recommended Japanese and Jewish values. A Democrat, he became disgusted with both parties and ran for president in the Reform Party, losing to Ross Perot. In 2004 Lamm gave a 5-minute speech in Washington on how to destroy America. We don't believe he was promoting these ideas; rather, he was warning us about what he saw building among progressives.

Wednesday and probably the second day, we will provide the speech. Those ideas are playing out in our immigration nightmare, and in numerous other ways.

                 See you here tomorrow

Hillary's Religion...?

We didn't plan to write about Mrs. Clinton anymore, until we read a book review, subtitled, How Faith Shaped Hillary Rodham Clinton's Politics.

Clinton grew up a Methodist, as did I. She may have been a normal church attender until she came under the influence of a youth minister who introduced her to the social gospel.

We read previously how she routinely mailed her thoughts to him until he died a few years ago. If his collection still exists, it might be interesting.

When husband Bill became president, she managed to offend both conservative women and the liberal press.

The book, DO ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN, stretches the facts about her "motivation by faith." It shows how she can speak the language of faith and talk about the power of faith.

The columnist notes, "But the social gospel is no gospel at all. Repentance and faith take a back seat to changing the world. If it's up to humans to fix the world, Jesus becomes optional.

This reminds us of our blog a couple days ago, with people like Obama and Soros transforming the world to save the world, which is not ever going to be "saved." Period! Except for that short 10-thousand-year interlude that the Christ/Messiah will manage. :)

Mrs. Clinton is an uncompromising supporter of abortion and the homosexual agenda. We don't speak for God, but we know of no scriptural justification for her views.

She and her types don't use faith to shape politics, but politics to shape faith. (See Hitler). Finally, her brusque dismissal of conservative voters - many of whom are Christians - cancels her faith claims once and for all. And she presents herself as an intellectual.

King David's Humility

     His thoughts in...

Psalm 39 verse 1 - I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin. I will put a muzzle on my mouth."

Vs 5 -You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man's life is but a breath.

Vs 6 - Man is a mere phantom as he goes to and fro; He bustles about, but only in vain.

Vs 8 - Save me from all my transgressions; do not make me the score of fools.

Vs 11 - You rebuke and discipline men for their sin; you consume their wealth like a moth - each man is but a breath.

Vs 12 - Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my cry for help. Be not deaf to my weeping. For I dwell with you as an alien, a stranger, as all my fathers were.

Rise and

                 fall of...

The Roman Empire never officially ended. In fact, it may be that today's world is the wreckage of the dazzling statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream, in the book of Daniel, chapter 2.

Interpreting the dream, Daniel tells the king he (the Babylonian Empire) is the "head" of gold. Other parts of the "body" are silver, bronze, and iron mixed with clay. We know from history the other parts would be the Medo-Persian, Greek and Roman empires, in that order.

The feet and toes of iron mixed with clay probably represent the nation states that followed. Daniel added that a "rock" made by the "God of heaven" will crush the remaining pieces and establish his kingdom, which will last forever. The arrival of the Christ/Messiah?

Today's feet and toes include immorality, crime, abortion, falsehood, love of money, and more. WORLD magazine: "gods and goddesses of Rome exist today in the form of mythologies from around the world. Paganism thrives, with the most gifted among us receiving the spoils."

Middle East is one place on the planet breaking into wars and rumors of war. An American pitied an immigrant living under a bridge. His response: "Don't be sorry. I'm better off than I was in my country."

WORLD: "The shock of Christianity was elevating the weak...one reason enlightened Romans and later, Nazis despised it. Jesus the humble Galilean was not as noble or inspiring as their gods/superiority."

Elitists are determined to raise the non-white population of America above 50 percent. Obama/Soros-like idealogues seek to remake the world, but "feet and toes" remain iron and clay. The "rock" is coming.

Our Free Market That Isn't

We think of our nation as a "market economy," an example for the world to follow.

But in truth, our society has been shaped by a collectivist mentality. Everywhere we turn, our lives are regulated and shaped by every level of government - all supposedly for the common good.

In all situations, someone wasn't content just to let market forces do their thing. Someone was always jumping in, "Let's give market forces a little extra help."

Implicit in all those governmental efforts is the sense that government has enough intelligence to do it better than the market would by itself. Maybe that's why we're not left with a notable example of a free-market model that we can all view.

In the United States we haven't been close - for several generations - to creating a test case for a market economy. At best, it's a blend, and in recent years, a blend tilting toward collectivism rather than freedom.

Who said all this?

The above is from a magazine column by Joel Belz in 2012, during the Obama administration, which advanced the collectivist playbook to more aspects of life.

Belz wrote that the free market model "simply isn't there for inspection, not in Havana, not in the United States, and apparently nowhere else."
