Imagine yourself in heaven about A.D. 96, as old John penned the last words for the last book of the Bible. There is the Father on his throne, arms folded, telling the angels, "Well, I've said all that needs to be said. Let's see what happens."

Such a thought amounts to unbelief. His book is a living book, inspired and illuminated by the Holy Spirit, revealing 15 centuries of his continuous speech through some 40 people.

   Our Pursuit of His Presence

Including the Bible, creation, sermons, missionaries, unlicensed saints and other means of his choosing, God continues to invite souls to the wedding banquet (Matt. 22). He may be speaking to a reader right now, with his "still small voice."

Jesus said, I am the light of the world. We assume by "light" he means speech from above that illuminates truth in an otherwise dark world.

We don't fall for the error of the occult, people who strive to see spiritual things with human eyes.

We do see the Son of Man lifted up, and we believe.

Without his gift of faith, there is no approach, no forgiveness, no deliverance, no spiritual life, and no entering into his presence.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Heb. 12:2.
