In the beginning was the Word, 
              and the Word was with God, 
                             and the Word was God.

   Our Pursuit of His Presence   

   God spoke all things into his Creation. 

   By the word of the Lord were the heavens made. For He spoke, and it came to be; 

He commanded, and it stood firm.  Ps. 33:6,9

   By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Heb. 11:3

Nothing became something

Clay became man

   The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.  John 6:63

   God continued speaking after He inspired the last word of the Holy Bible. The voice of God - Proverbs and Hebrews call it Wisdom - is everywhere, searching, seeking our response.

   We are inclined not to hear. We fill our days with noise and activity. He says:

Be still and know that I am God.
