There's a Tiger Threat in Tampa Bay

Thousands have seen him in Palm Harbor, just north of St. Petersburg.

As we write this Saturday morning, it's freezing outside ... well, 44 degrees is freezing to us.

   But this Tiger is hot.

After several years on the sidelines with back problems and personal issues, golfer Tiger Woods made the cut, and tees off today at 4-under par, just two shots behind the leader.

He hasn't played locally since he first became a pro. Just his presence this week forced officials to open two additional fields for parking, add 90-some port-a-potties and arrange for extra traffic control.

Meanwhile, IndyCar races are hot stuff on the streets of St. Petersburg all weekend.
