No Matter What   

   Aging quadriplegic, recovering from cancer, Joni Eareckson Tada asks, 

"Are the struggles of life getting us down? Is the Lord asking too much of us?"

   Here is what He asks:

And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God

ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, 

to walk in his ways, to love him, 
to serve the Lord your God

with all your heart and with all your soul,

and to observe the Lord's commands and decrees

that I am giving you today for your own good?

Deut. 10:12-13

   Then the Lord took it on himself to die for us on a cruel cross, paying the penalty for our inability to do all that He asks. 

   He requires belief, trust and obedience...no matter what.
