Worried about the hurricane?

Of course, "acts of God" destroy much, hurt many and kill others.

We don't know exactly why He allows trouble for his image bearers,
not to mention disease, birth defects and man's harm to fellow men.

Some conclude that God isn't there, or doesn't care.

Here's truth that should be evident:
Earth is not Heaven.
Temporary life is not eternal life.

Here's another:
If it was God's perfect will, He would quiet Dorian in a moment.

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble.
He stilled the storm to a whisper. The waves of the sea were hushed.
Psalm 107:29

The disciples went and woke him. 'Master, we're going to drown.'
(Jesus) got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters.
The storm subsided and all was calm.
Luke 8:24

He is greater than storms.
There is no rule against prayer.
If we're worried about death,
it's time to cry out to the Savior.
