THE GOSPEL   

     

In one letter, apostle Paul explained the good news.

This may be useful to you, and/or others.

All words are direct from Galatians (NIV),

rearranged to summarize his message.

Part 1

THE PROBLEM  

Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin.  

So...we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

THE SOLUTION 

God sent his Son...that we might receive the full rights of sons. 

God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts. 

So, you are no longer a slave, but a son...and God has made you an heir.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us,

for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.' 

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing.
