Even Greater    

Jesus told his disciples that anyone with faith in him

would do even greater things than him. 

(John 14:12)

because

He was going to the Father

meaning

He would send the Holy Spirit

The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

1 John 4:4

why?

So that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

John 14:13

In Psalm 34, David advises:

Praise the Lord

Boast in the Lord

Glorify the Lord

Seek the Lord

Look to the Lord

Call on the Lord

Listen to the Lord

Seek peace and pursue it

Turn from evil and do good

Taste and see that the Lord is good

In chapter 4, James calls for humility.

Come near to God and He will come near to you.
