Paul Before Caesar  

Acts chapter 27 

     Last night an angel of God ... stood beside me and said, "Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar" (vv 27:23-24).

(C)  As long as God has a place and purpose for one's life on earth, and that person is seeking God and following his guidance, the Lord will protect. 

     Paul is a prisoner on the ship; but he is a free man in Christ, living free from fear in God's presence. 

     In this life, only the sincere and faithful believer experiencing God's nearness can face life's dangers with courage and assurance. God's promises to his people are normally conditional on their obedience to his will.
