   After the risen Lord encountered Saul, persecuter of Christians, and gave him an assignment he couldn't refuse, and renamed him Paul, the rest of the story is...

   Paul wasted no time sharing the gospel.

   He built friendships, worked with helpers and strengthened local churches. 

   Paul relied on gifts of the Holy Spirit, preaching with power.

   He is known for apologetics, giving God the glory, and making spiritual detours.                  (Acts 17 and 27)

   In the new year we could challenge ourselves and you with new Bible studies.

   Here are four questions to test your learning talents.

1. What color are blue jays?

2. What comes first, the cart or the horse?

3. In what direction do we find the north star?

4. Why don't we call the combined Old and New Testaments the Whole Bible?

   If you got at least three answers right, congratulations. You are capable of joyfully learning along with us in 2022. 

   All people are going to answer before the Lord ... not bosses, politicians, athletes, entertainers, dictators or even popes. Can we make God smile?
