Like the ancients, many drift into spiritual maintenance mode.

We put our hopes in a president.

We rationalize, I'm doing okay.

Jesus never said, I have come that you might do okay.

On spiritual autopilot, rivers of living water slow to a trickle.

Human nature desires to rule.
