Grand Old Party 

     Led by Donald Trump and many others, the campaign was victorious Both houses of Congress, we think, will join the executive branch in righting some of the wrongs of the current administration, at least for two years. We are happy.

     It will be a challenge. Millions of illegal immigrants. China, Russia and Iran threatening world order. Democrats blocking the way in some states. 

     Trump has only four years to right the ship. Meanwhile, there is Someone with forever power. 

Book of Isaiah (chapter 40)

     "All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, flower fades. The word of God stands forever." vv. 6-8.  

     "Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as dust on the scales. All nations before Him are as nothing." vv. 15,17. 

     "Have you not known? Have you not heard? It is He who sits above the circle of the earth. Its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He brings princes to nothing; He makes judges of the earth useless." vv. 21-23. 

     "To whom will you liken Me. To whom shall I be equal? says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes; see who has created these things." vv. 25-26 

     "The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable." v. 28 

     "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." v. 31
