     Democrats won! That is, those in the top 1% in wealth. Below that, Donald Trump voters (73 million) outnumbered Harris voters at every level. Republicans received the majority of votes (not just the Electoral College) for the first time in 20 years. Won the Senate and may keep the House.

     Years ago, there was a movie beginning with Republicans as the well to do, and Democrats representing average people. By the end of the movie, the sides had switched. I think we just saw it happen...for real.

     Trump received more votes than he did in 2016 and 2020. Some who didn't appreciate the success of his first term thought differently this year. Even more voters in some blue states. 

     The gimmick to surround Harris with celebrities didn't win over citizens desperate for affordable necessities. Lots of Dem voters still haven't grasp the truth that their politicians aren't really interested in them. That is beginning to change. 

     College students who need time off school to come to grips with their misery have been lied to. They sobbed in 2016 too. Some were given coloring books and Legos to calm them. When will they discover truth, so they can enjoy the American dream. 

     Is Obama going to be rejected, now that he and his Mrs. made a public show of support for Harris, a terrible candidate. David Axelrod and others admit their marriage with the far left has been a disaster. What took so long? We guess Biden didn't mind this outcome. Politics! Human nature. But his reputation is damaged. 

     Democratic leaders say they will never let Trump do anything to them, etc., as if Trump wants to "get even" or something. He isn't even thinking of them, as he makes plans to restore America...for the good of all! 

      Israel is pleased. Satan is angry. Trump needs all the protection he can get.

Scripture Fulfilled 

     Book of John 

v. 19:24  "...that Scripture (Psalm 22:18) might be fulfilled which says, 'They divided my garments among them. And for my clothing they cast lots.'" 

v. 19:36  "...that Scripture (Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9-12, Psalm 34:20) be fulfilled. 'Not one of his bones shall be broken.'" 

v. 19:37   "...Scripture (Zechariah 12:10) says, 'They shall look on him whom they pierced.'" 

v. 20:17  "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God."

v. 20:21  "Jesus said to them, 'Peace to you! As the Father has sent me, I also send you.'" 

v. 20:29  "Jesus said, 'Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'"

v. 20:31  "...but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."

An Election to Save Our Republic?

     Having compared Trump's first term with Biden's current reign, and Trump's latest campaign with Harris's shower of accusations, I thought this election might save or break our Republic. 

     Was I wrong? 

     Hunter Baker, a school dean in South Carolina, knows the tendency we have for seeing each election as "a contest for the fate of mankind." Now, he wrote in October, it seems to him that "such claims are untrue." 

     "Americans," he wrote, "have a great deal of protection thanks to the Constitution. Founders conceived of a government that frustrates sudden waves of passion and changes in policy. Separated powers and the division into federal and state systems work against ultimate power. Elections never expose the entire federal government at the same time. 

     "Christians," he wrote, "should take the longer view of God's sovereignty. None of us will conceive some plan that will surprise the Lord. That doesn't mean we don't have responsibilities and aren't accountable. We have the right to speak, to organize, to be involved, and to vote. We can act, rather than be acted upon. That means we should inform ourselves. There are important issues at stake." 

     "While all that activity has value, and what happens in our electoral process matters, it all pales in significance before the greater reality. Jesus Christ is King. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Not because we created the perfect system. The truth will be undeniable to every soul who has ever lived." 

     Yes, Dean Baker. Meanwhile, we are preparing a blog for Sunday night/Monday, with a summary of truth and lies that voters were told during, and even after, the election.

What is 'Toxic Empathy'?

     A few days ago, we published remarks by Lindsay Mast, host of a BlazeTV podcast, interviewed by WORLD magazine. We follow up today.

By the way, WORLD suffered greatly in the hurricane in North Carolina. 

Can you explain "toxic empathy"?

     "Using empathy to manipulate. Those in power and the media extort people to take a particular position, saying, "In order to be a compassionate and kind person, this is the stance you must take." Feeling someone else's pain must convince you to affirm their choices, their perspectives, and whatever policy they say will alleviate their pain. 

     "It is emotional manipulation, telling one side of the story, or misrepresenting an issue to make you believe the only righteous position is their position. 

Other examples 

     "Progressives will use Christian ideas like loving your neighbor, and mercy and justice to convince you that opening up the border, affirming someone's so-called gender identity or affirming the redefinition of the family are actual Biblical positions. Because this is what it means to love, they say. 

     "And they do this by falsely conflating empathy with love...two different things. You can feel how someone else feels, but love is inextricable with the truth, because love never rejoices in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth, as 1 Corinthians 13:6 tells us."

Declaration of Truth

 We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness - that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving  their just powers from the consent of the governed. 

That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or replace it, by vote of the people, and to institute new governance, laying its foundation on such principles, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness. Prudence has shown that mankind is more disposed to      suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves.

But when a 3-3/4 year train of abuses and promises of worse, evinces the rise of Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide new guards for their future security. Such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their current usurpations, the object of which is the establishment of an absolute Tyranny. 

May the Laws of Nature and Nature's God be restored.

What's Happening?

     Halloween scare is over. Thanksgiving and Christmas - coming. 

     Hmmm. Oh! Today is the last day to vote. 

     This may be the most important day in our history, since the victory in 1815, and before that, the British surrender at Yorktown in 1781. 

     Today, it's a political battle we Americans have crafted for ourselves. 

     One party wants to return to the ways that made us the envy of the world. The other party wants to mess with our constitution, and with just a little more power, will bring on a surrender of another kind. 

     How the truth - four years of Trump/Pence vs. almost four years of Biden/Harris - doesn't convince 90 percent of us to vote for Trump, is beyond my understanding. 

     On day one, the Biden regime began tearing down our generally successful ways. They spent billions of dollars to favor even more potential voters. They enabled a war in Ukraine that wears on, and a killing spree in Israel that has expanded, thanks to Democrat's friendliness with a country that hates both us and Israel.  

     Well, some voters have other reasons. They don't look at the big picture, but favor power, or a type of person, or a single issue, or....

     VP Kamala Harris is their choice, and they may not know what she and her handlers have in mind. Liberals have taken over education, big business, the military etc., and they are ready to dominate. 

     Will November 5, 2024 join the list of historic days in America, like December 7, 1941? A date that lives in infamy?

Greetings: We're back from my sister's funeral in Pennsylvania. She may be among those "called great in the kingdom of heaven." We dedicate part 5 of 6 to her.

Judgment of Believers 

Some will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:19 

But many who are first will be last and many who are last will be first.     - Matthew 19:30

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:14 

Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness which the righteous judge will award me - and to all who have longed for his appearing. - 2 Timothy 4:8

These (trials) have come so that your faith ... may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.    1 Peter 1:7 

There will be trouble and distress...but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jews, then for the Gentiles. For God does not show favoritism. - Romans 2:9-11
