Jesus Said:

When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. - Matthew 6:6 

Jesus called the Twelve and said, 'If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all. Whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. - Mark 9:35, 37 

Then he said to them all: If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it to gain the whole world and yet lose or forfeit his very self. - Luke 9:23-26 

I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.  For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these. - John 5:19
